Appropriately enough, the entry that resumes this Journal almost a year and a half after its creation is named "Never a Break pt. 1. Also in the new edition of EIGHT GRAGE LANGUAGE ARTS COMPOSITION BOOK, I will refrain from commenting on myself until the end of a post and will leave any spelling or grammar mistakes exactly as I wrote them back in the day.
HERE GOES! (and it feels good to be back...)
This weekend I had no time for my life. When I woke up Saturday I showered, at a quick breakfast, and almost immediately had to go to the Car Wash, which was fun, but with my busy schedule, I had to leave for dance lessons at 11:30, which didn't finish until 2, where I quickly ate a taco in the car for lunch, and then went home only to call Ryan for a game show meeting, where I would be while my parents, brother, and grandma would be apple picking. At Ryans, I stayed until around 6:30, where him, Sarah, and I worked on the music. When I got home, ate dinner, did homework and went to bed at 10:30. Sunday I woke up, ate breakfast, did more of the homework I had and went to church. As soon as church was over, my mom got Taco Bell, which we ate at home, but as soon as we finished eating we went to a Tigers game, (of course they lost) until 6, where I spent the rest of the night doing more homework, stayed up until 11 doing it, waking up at 6AM today, and still not being done.
Thoughts!
- I spelled a few words wrong and had an incomplete sentence or two. Urp! I used "which" often, and Mrs. Spear would not be happy.
- Ryan! Sarah! I still know you and love you! I need to get this note into Facebook and TAG you!
- I mentioned DANCE LESSONS! I'm not embarrassed one bit by my dance lessons but I do feel like they happened in a different life. It's refreshing to know that I participated in them and enjoyed them (or at least didn't complain) not that long ago!
- I eat often, too. I guess in a busy life full of responsibilities the acts of eating and performing those responsibilities are everything...but whoa! Quite a few too many meals in there for me to proudly admit now. Back then, I was overweight but not fat. Good for me!
- We've all been paying attention to the Tigers and that painful, painful loss to the Twins in the 12th inning a few days back. It's good to know that even as a child, I expected our teams to fail, and that I continue to do so today.
