#17 Toronto part 1 (Also about trains)

Toronto is easily the best of the 3 CT trips. Today I will talk about the train, which only made the trip better. I will probably never ride a train again. They are not very fast, are outdated, and unless I make one (hehehehe), ugly! Our train ride was fun, but it broke down. I was laughing before I knew what happened and I was laughing harder after. We made it maybe two miles when the train broke down. If we were racing a turtle with a broken leg, the turtle would be faster than our speed going back to the station. We had to call back the buses, wait for them, and drive to Toronto! We missed the CN Tower, but I didn't care to see it, and the Lion King was so great the CN Tower would have been boring. The funniest part of the train trip was when we sat on a unmoving train for half an hour, not sure if we had to jump off the train!

THOUGHTS

  • I'm not feeling very friendly to my past self right now, so here goes:
  • Toronto was a great trip. I still remember it and have a photo album of the trip in my bedroom.
  • I am wishy-washy. Did I love the train or did I despise it? I've gotten better at commitment.
  • FACT CHECK: I have ridden trains since then.
  • Once upon a time, slow, outdated technology bothered me. I would love a slow trip and love the history behind trains.
  • It's good that I had the creative ego to think I could make a better train...I've lost that confidence.
